Angie Moore, EMT-B
Angie works in the Administration Office of the IEMS Association. She is currently an EMT-B for Stuart Rescue. This is Angie’s 5th year on the committee and she is involved in the promotion and speaker committees.

Brent Baughman, BA, PS, FF-II
This is Brent’s 14th year on the conference committee and he is the Treasurer of the Central Iowa EMS Council. Brent has been involved in EMS for 19 years. He is currently a full-time Paramedic Specialist/Fire Fighter for the City of Indianola and the Rescue Captain for the New Virginia Volunteer Fire Department.

Pam Boat, RN, BSN, EMT-B
This is Pam’s 4th year with the CIEMS Committee. Pam works as a Nursing Shift Supervisor in her real job at Pella Regional Health Center. Her first love though, is her volunteer job with Pella Community Ambulance. Giving back to her community and the adrenalin rush are what she likes best about volunteering. Pam was named one of Iowa’s 100 Greatest Nurses in 2007.

Rob Dehnert, NREMT-P, PS, CCP, AAS
Rob has been an asset to the conference committee for his expert technical knowledge. Rob has been beneficial in maintaining the CIEMS Conference website. Rob has been involved in EMS for nearly 19 years. He is currently a full-time Paramedic Specialist for the City of West Des Moines in their EMS Support Services Division.

Janet Drake, RN, BSN, MSEd
Janet is the EMS Coordinator at Des Moines Area Community College. She has served for 13 years on the Central Iowa EMS Conference Committee working on the Speaker Committee. She is also responsible for making sure everyone gets their continuing education hours for this great conference! If you have any questions about your CEUs or CEHs, see Janet.

Jeff Dummermuth, BS, PS, CCP, LPN
This is Jeff’s 10th year on the conference committee. Jeff is a Paramedic Specialist and LPN and is the Director of West EMS, a collaborative agreement between Dallas County and the City of West Des Moines. He has been involved in EMS for 25 years.

Scott Gavin, BA, PS, CCP
This is Scott’s 6th year on the Central Iowa EMS Conference Committee. He is a Paramedic Specialist and the Assistant Director of Dallas County EMS. Scott has eagerly volunteered his time on our exhibit hall committee. His computer skills are invaluable when it comes to the day of the conference.

Katy Hill, RN, CFRN, EMT-B
Katy is a part-time Medic with West Des Moines EMS and is Clinical Educator and Flight Nurse with Life Flight at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. The Central Iowa EMS Conference Committee is lucky to have Katy serving on the committee. She chairs the speaker sub-committee, and her hard work and dedication has brought many nationally renowned speakers to our conferences. The feedback from our attendees has been sensational. This is Katy’s 8th year with the committee.

Bill McKibben, BS, PS
Bill is a Fire Fighter/Paramedic Specialist with West Des Moines. Bill is our registration specialist and has been a valuable asset to our committee.

Mark Ludwick, BS, NREMT-P
Mark has been in EMS for 16 years. He is a Special Agent with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), and has been with the Department of Public Safety for 10 years. This is his 8th year serving on the CIEMS Committee.
Kelly Milligan, EMT-B
This is Kelly’s 5th year on the Central Iowa EMS Conference Committee. Kelly has been an EMT and a Fire Fighter with Baxter for 12 years. When not serving the public, he operates his own communication company. Kelly is from the eastern part of central Iowa and brings us the rural perspective.
